These connectors, by design, are not subject to the fatigue phenomena experienced by other systems because their shape adapts to each strap.

They allow the harness to be connected to the wing and are also used to connect the rescue parachute to the harness (the anchor points on the shoulders are tested at 1.5T, ie 750kg on each shoulder).

In flight or on the road during transport, the rigid connectors are subjected to micro-vibrations which can unscrew the screw links. Flexible links do not suffer from this phenomenon.
